Evidence of an Apple Television from Best Buy

Published on February 6, 2012 by

According to theverge.com, Best Buy is taking surveys to gather information from customers to see if they are interested in an Apple branded television. The survey suggests that Apple will offer a 42 inch 1080p LED TV that incorporates iOS apps, iTunes, a built in camera and microphone for $1499.

The survey claims the camera and microphone can be used with Skype which may be true but it would more likely be advertised to be used with FaceTime. The other claims seem to be inline with what is expected from a heavily rumored iTV but Siri is a feature that is not on the list.

The Best Buy survey could be leaked information but it’s most likely someone putting together information of features that an Apple TV might have at a price that Apple would possibly sell it for.

Apple is widely expected to start selling a HDTV this year that could possibly reinvent television, but as one would expect Apple has not released any details about the upcoming device.
