Apple TV goes from hobby to high priority

There has been no shortage of Apple TV rumors lately. Jefferies analyst Peter Misek, is claming that Apple will hold an event in March to introduce a SDK (software development kit) for Apple TV. Apple TV 5.2 is now available for download

Along with today’s release of iOS 6.1, Apple also included an update for the Apple TV. The new 5.2 software update adds a number of features including Bluetooth keyboard support, AirPlay sending, Up Next support, iCloud for iTunes music and more. iTunes in the Cloud: Browse and play your purchased iTunes music directly from iCloud.

Apple TV will soon pair with Bluetooth keyboards

9to5Mac has found that the latest beta version of Apple TV software has a new Bluetooth menu that allows the device to be paired with Apple’s wireless keyboard. The keyboard can then control Apple TV by using the arrow keys, the return key for play/pause and the escape key will act as the menu key.
