A few days after the release of iOS 7 comes the 6.0 software upgrade for Apple TV. Apple TV now has Vevo, Weather Channel, Smithsonian & Disney apps

As expected Vevo has arrived for Apple TV users, but surprisingly it came along with four other apps as well. This morning Apple rolled out an automatic update for Apple TV that included the Weather Channel, Smithsonian Channel, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Vevo. Watch Amazon Instant Video on Apple TV

Apple TV 3 teardown and specs

We now have images of the internal parts for the Apple TV 3. The photos come from a teardown of the latest Apple TV by a xbmc.org forum member. The first image shows the new single core A5 chip but we didn’t need a teardown to reveal that. Apple gives that information on the specs

Here’s a funny video of what Siri might be like on Apple TV via SuriTV. We certainly hope if Siri ever makes it to Apple TV it will work better than this. Of course, Apple would never include Siri with Apple TV if it worked this poorly.
